I am a Mexican composer, theorist, and researcher born in the city of Coatepec, Veracruz. I hold an associate's degree in clarinet performance from the ISMEV (Instituto Superior de Música del Estado de Veracruz). Between 2015 and 2019, I achieved a double degree in music with a focus on theory and composition at the University of New Mexico (USA), graduating with maximum honors (summa cum laude). Between 2020 and 2022, I completed a master's degree in advanced theory and composition under the tutelage of Dr. José-Luis Hurtado at the aforementioned institution. I hold a DMA in IDM Music Composition at the renowned Arizona State University, where I studied under the guidance of Dr. Garth Paine.
